I received the cobra viper yesterday and installed them last night after we got home from the lake on my AR195. Took off my thrust vectors and installed your product in about 30 minutes. Headed back out this morning to the river and I am quite frankly in shock. Your product handles as good or better at no wake as the thrust vectors but is absolutely night and day at speed. The ability to turn on a dime at speed is incredible. This makes tubing experience 100 percent better. The other thing is the ability to turn fast to go pick up a downed tuber or skier. Before it took what seemed like half a football field to turn at speed and double back. Now I can almost spin the boat and head the other way. It's amazing. I can honestly say I recommend your product a thousand times more than the thrust vectors. I have no dog in this fight but hope the honest review will help someone that was in my shoes. Really wish I wouldn't have spent money on the thrust vectors since they were almost double the cost of yours. Thanks for the help.

It's hard to believe that such a small incremental expense can drastically change the overall performance of the entire experience. I am not a professional rider, in fact this is my first ski. I had it for about 7 months before installing the Cobra Steering, what a huge difference! I feel more in control, safer, and it enhances my fun. The only way I now to describe it is like going from driving a Lincoln Town car to a Honda Prelude. I would recommend this steering system to any user level as it makes your ski entirely more responsive which puts the driver in full control. Was I skeptical at first? Absolutely, but I easily rationalized it, what's a few more bucks to spend compared to what I spent on the ski in the first place? If the steering does 1/2 of what they claim it does, than I'm ahead of the game. It turned out to be the best money I ever spent, it made a big difference.

Just when I thought that great product, great service at an affordable prices was a thing of the past, then I found Jeff. The Utopia 205 is one of the heaviest seadoo jetboat and it needs quite a bit of trust to move which makes it somewhat of a loose cannon around docks but not anymore now it seems to have side trusters and rides like on rails at high speed. thanks Jeff

I recently purchased the Cobra Jet Steering for my polaris after Jeff informed me of the capabilities that this would give any rider on my ski. I personally was tired of the fact that the Polaris would not cave a turn, but would rather slide and skip on corners, and spin out unpredictably. This was the ski that I let my friends ride and I was not happy with the fact that it was tooeasy to get out of control. After receiving the steering system (lightning fast shipping), and installed (10-15min, I got to take her out. Immediately, I noticed better idle control. Now she tilts and carved into her tun, spins only when you want to, and feels like a jet ski even more now. The turning radius and ability almost matched my 94XP, which is impressive by itself. Inexpensive, fast shipping, easy install, and Jeff is GREAT to talk with, this is a no-brainer. If you want better control, more fun and the ability to ride to the edge and be safe, this is for you. If you want to cruise the lakes and sea, take in sights, then this is for you. If you want to pull a tube, ski or anything else, this is for you. Without question, the best thing I could have done to my ski, I am ordering one for my 94XP now, more to come....

I need to share my recent experience with you and visitors to your web site. As you know I have had your steering system on my sea doo for nearly as long as I have had it, about two years. My girlfriend and I like to go riding. She never owned a jet ski but she drives mine all the time. When you gave me the new low profile screws to change out on my steering, I took off the steering to replace the screws and procrastinated putting it back together. I wasn't in a hurry, as I didn't plan on riding it anytime soon. My girlfriend however wanted to go to the water and bring the jet ski. I was hurrying around and didn't put the steering back on. When we arrived at the water it slipped my mind and she took off on the ski. She came right back in a few minutes saying it was broken. I started thinking it had an engine problem and was worried about dealing with some expensive repair. Then she explained it wasn't the engine, there was something wrong with the steering. It was really hard to turn at high speed and didn't feel right the rest of the time. I then realized I had not told her about removing the steering system. She refused to drive it the rest of the day and made sure I put it back on when we returned home. This proved to me that when you say you wont want to drive a jet ski without it once you have it, you're not kidding. I have years of experience driving regular jet skies but she never drove one without this modification and she refuses to, now that she knows the difference. I just wanted to let you know and anyone else who may be interested.

I tried your steering kit on my quick-handling XP. I am amazed that something that looks small and inconsequential can make such a difference. This ski can be punishing in chop and at high speed because of the quick hull design. The stability and control improvements, especially at speed, are very dramatic. I also appreciate your quick shipping and customer related responses, even to questions about other than the steering. Thanks for all the help and a truly great product. Keep up the good work!!!

We are senior citizens and decided to purchase a jet ski to help entertain our grandchildren. We purchased one with the Cobra Steering from Jeff. It is unbelievable! Now my wife wants her own. The steering makes it so easy to handle, slow or fast! We have told all of our friends about this who have had trouble steering and landing at a dock. I don't know how you figured out how to do this .But what a difference it made on my gsx.I enjoyed this ski accept for the loss of control at high speed . If I turned fast it would loose its bite and spin out . Not any more, I can do turns at full throttle , and I noticed it is a lot easier to turn the steering at full power.I went and purchased a tube and now we are enjoying this even more.This is the best mod I ever tried.I will definitely tell all my friends about this, I still dont know how you get it to do what it does, It dosent even go below the ride plate.Well im impressed beyond words , its like having a different jet ski, thanks for convincing me to try it.

I have a pretty quick, modified XPL Seadoo. The design of the hull makes it unpredictable in chop. I have extended aftermarket sponsons and I tried your standard steering system along with the sponsons. I am an experienced operator, and I was quite carefull in the beginning. After a short time of familiarization with the steering added, I was impressed. If not amazed. Here are the results: It made the ski predictable and a whole lot more controllable. In my opinion it's a lot better than just the sponsons. It held the nose down just a bit and required me to adjust my quick trim to compensate. It definitely holds the hull steady and I was doing things in heavy chop, that I would never have attempted before. You may want to rethink your advice about not using this with extended sponsons. I found it to make the sponsons easier to control and very predictable. I am definitely impressed.
