We received the steering fins this afternoon. I installed them and took the boat to the lake. They made a huge difference in the slow speed steering. I will tell others about my experience. Thanks again!

All I can say is wow! My wife and I purchased a 2000 seadoo challenger in March. Docking was a nightmare, I was absoulutly scared to death to pull into the launch ramp sometimes even jumping out of the boat and pulling it in. I had several difficult loading experiences. After researching improved steering options I came across the Cobra Jet Fins. They installed very easily and after taking the boat out it was like I was driving a different boat. I had much better control at high speeds and at low speeds I was finally able to manuver with confidence. I should have bought these months ago. My boating experience is much better, I highly recommend this product.

After lots of research and reading on this website I decided to put Cobra Venom steering fins on my 2012 242LS. I wouldn't say I'm an "experienced" boater. I did own an entry level Regal bowrider several years ago but almost all of the docking was done by my fiancee. I purchased my new Yamaha in February and only have 10 hours on it. I docked it this weekend for the first time with my new steering fins installed. What a difference. I actually looked like I knew what I was doing! I also had the throttles adjusted when I had the steering fins installed (yes, I'm one of those females that has to pay for modifications). Before having the steering fins installed I always had a little anxiety approaching our marina dock because it requires you to turn the boat around in a small space with a current. The steering fins were totally worth every penny even with the installation fee from my marina.

After doing some research on my boat before I purchased it, I came across the Cobra Steering System. All I can say is WOW!!!. This product does give you a better feel and very quick response from the steering wheel. Highly recommended for any jet boat! I just ordered my EZ LOCKS and can't wait to install those. Jeff, the fins work amazing! We went out in 12 mph wind and coming back to the dock usually we'd be sweating it, but with the new fins on, man what a difference! We can't thank you enough, WOW!!! Opened the boat up to 45 MPH on the straight and turned the wheel just slightly - felt like a ride at a carnival! Woo Hoo!! Thanks so much for everything. I had another manufacturers"fins" on my boat and never really noticed much improvement in steering. I just replaced them with the Cobra Venom 16x's and I now notice a big improvement at all speeds even while decelerating!!! Thanks Jeff, great product, great customer support and very easy to install.
