Installation Instructions and Tips

In most cases installation is simple and quick. Instructions documents can be found on each product page.  Installation videos can also be found on each product page.

If you are installing steering units on a twin engine boat, you should always be sure that the steering nozzles are aligned evenly. I have found from experience that aligning the nozzles gets a better result.

Each set of steering comes with instructions.  I also make every effort to provide you with videos, when possible.  In some instances you will need to use a good semi-permanent thread-locking compound per the installation instructions.  Sending chemicals in the mail is prohibited by postal regulations so you will need to have that on hand when you do any installation requiring its use.  I will send you a heads-up on this when I send your tracking number email.  Please do not ignore this very important part of the installation process as failure to follow these instructions can lead to problems with the system.
