Cobra MEGA FANGS PLUS

Our NEW COBRA MEGA FANGS PLUS were designed to give your Yamaha jet boat DECREASED STEERING RESISTANCE at planing speeds by angling the leading position of the MEGA FANG PLUS to increase its contact with the water ahead of the pivot point of the nozzle.  This reposiitioning will provide even more steering assistance to provide easier turning of the steering wheel at speed.

The MEGA FANGS PLUS will provide IMPRESSIVE REVERSE CONTROL, IMPROVED REVERSE MANEUVERABILITY, INCREASED STOPPING POWER for docking and beaching, etc., plus more REVERSE PUSH when backing off a trailer or boat lift.

HOW do we accomplish this?  Our NEW MEGA FANGS PLUS FOCUSES the REVERSE THRUST to capture & direct more of the thrust for more reverse control.  We never reduce it, divide it, or obstruct it.  Instead we CHANNEL IT BETWEEN THE MEGA FANGS AS IT EXITS THE REVERSE OPENING OF THE NOZZLE.

Our new MEGA FANGS are also designed to be compatible with the ULTIMATE steering system, ULTIMATE AK steering system, MAGNUM steering system, and MAGNUM AK steering systems.

The MEGA FANGS PLUS system enhances all the reverse functions to give your boat a REAL Reverse that is EFFECTIVE and PREDICTABLE in real world situations like wind, waves, and current.

Not only do you get the previously mentioned benefits, but our MEGA FANGS PLUS also noticeably enhance the steering effect of many of our steering systems, at all speeds, even off-power maneuvering in an emergency situation.

MEGA FANGS PLUS are designed to work with MOST Yamaha jet boats up to the 2018 models, except the 19 foot KEEL jet boat.  However, we do have the C J S VIPER SYSTEM for that model with fangs already built in.

This new MEGA FANGS PLUS system requires 2 MEGA FANGS per nozzle with 2 locking tabs and hardware, no base plates are required with the ULTIMATE OR MAGNUM 16X steering systems as those steering systems already have the correct base plates, or plates that can easily be setup for the MEGA FANGS PLUS system.

If you desire to add our new MEGA FANGS PLUS AK Series to the MAGNUM AK  or ULTIMATE AK steering systems for the twin engine articulating keel boats you will need to add the base plates and hardware for mounting them to the nozzle.  **NOTE: AK MEGA FANGS PLUS are a model specific system made to accommodate the tie rods.**

*Note This modification is not compatible with any single engine 19 foot Yamaha equipped with a factory rudder nor is it compatible with the new 2019 model nozzles. For Yamaha twin engine models using the magnum A K or Ultimate AK systems the AK Mega Fang Plus system is required.
