I too had a miserable time docking or re-trailering my 21 foot twin jet boat without the cobra system. Jeff shipped me a set quickly and now its like night and day at slow or fast speeds. I would recomend these to anyone with a jet drive system.

I love jet drives over props for many reasons even without cobra jet steering BUT I Installed at beginning of 2009 season. What a difference! Less problems with cross winds when docking. All together better handling when maneuvering around docks. Better tracking when crossing a wake at an angle, or in waves. Installation simple. Wish I had these the last four years. Dual jet drives are better for handling than a single drive, but these should come stock from the factory. I’m usually skeptical of most “performance enhancing” products. These are amazing! Thanks for creating them.

OMG the difference! My husband and I recently bought a jet boat. We had several crashes at the marina where we docked the boat. I found the cobra steering fins. I mailed my nozzle to Jeff for my installation. He got it back to me the same day. FEDEX. The fins really work. I feel so much better. I was so afraid to launch the boat. Now, with the fins, my fear is gone. I highly recommend the fins for anyone with a jet boat. It really increases the safety.

With some great advice and fast support from Jeff, I installed the fins in about 30 minutes. The Cobra Jet Steering is fantastic. The ski turns on a dime and nice hole shots. While idling in the Marina the ski is very easy to steer around the tight spots. Loading the ski on the trailer is a snap. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to add handling to their ski.

i found Jeff's website through a search for upgrades and read the page, then i called Jeff and had a nice conversation relating to the product. i then purchased a unit and have recently operated my ski and the improvement is day and night difference. i can honestly say, that his product does greatly improve the steering response and makes the ski feel very predictable. top end steering is very responsive.. increasing my confidence during maneuvering. i would definitely purchase this product again in the future. thanks for a great product Jeff. :)

I purchased the SeaDoo Jetboat primarily because the waters here in Bradenton are so shallow. Jeff put on the steering mod and the handling is so much better. It has maneuverability at idle whereas before the mod, at idle the boat was basically a bathtub on the loose. I cannot recommend the conversion highly enough. It was quick and professionally done, and made a real difference in the usability of the SeaDoo. note: this was the utopia with twin sc ic 4tec engines.

Just got back from towsurfing one of the outer reefs - wasn't real big but double to triple overhead (15 to 20' faces) and the ski worked GREAT! Comin' in hot to pick up my partner after he wiped out or at the end of his ride, I was able to do these nice little steering adjustments to position the back of the rescue sled right on him, where before you'd have to anticipate "the slide" with all the foam, turbulence and currents to get in position - I am real good at that anyway, but its just a piece of cake with the cobras - I had to actually get used to the extra control. GOOD JOB! The swell is supposed to get even bigger tonight and we're planning a dawn patrol attack on that outer reef tomorrow and this time we'll be taking both FX140's, the one with the cobras & the one without - so I'll be able to do an on the spot comparison in the same extreme conditions - stay tuned for my next update...

I now have a full season's experience with Cobra Jet Steering and can say that it's the single best modification I've ever made to our boat! Lining up to the dock is precise and maneuvering through traffic at no wake speeds is nearly stress free (I can still do 360's too). For my application I had to send Jeff my nozzle for proper fitment. Despite that, the nozzle was freshly painted and back in my hands with the fins already installed 4 days from when the nozzle left my hands. Outstanding job Jeff!!

From a former Moto-X 250 rider...Here is my testimonial.. I hate it! Yes that's right I hate it but love to hate it. Before I found your device, I was slipping sliding and working extra hard to keep my Yam FX160 pointed and doing what I wanted it to do. I like air time, lots of it! Well, I was so inclined to working the PWC, I felt as if I was getting a work out. Now that your cobra fins have been installed well, its just not the same! It's to dam easy. Having this device on my Yam FX160 well... I want and need a more powerful jet ski. Knowing that I can ride hard and do what I want to do, I will need to refocus my energy towards the tricks rather than the compensation and anticipation of slipping and sliding. Dam thing works, fantastic! So, those out there who can't or refuse to believe well, take it from a skeptic... And if you ride as hard as I do, and demand more from your tools of the trade, you will want more, lots more... So...someone build a faster and more powerful jet please. These fins are all about BIG AIR and will rip a wave or a swell to hell. Air time is awesome!
